Do your children ever wonder what they want to be when they grow up? Do your children dream of becoming an engineer, an astronaut, or a scientist? Do your children have a passion for computers and technology? BCMS has the academic program for them! Bud Carson Middle School is pleased to announce the opening of the Science - Technology - Engineering - Mathematics (STEM) Academy for the 2011-2012 school year.
Our STEM Academy will guide each student through a personal, firsthand discovery of the exciting and rewarding careers that could be waiting for them in the future. BCMS staff members have worked diligently to provide each child with a rigorous academic program, with a focus on career and college planning and the use of technology.
A dynamic feature of our STEM Academy is on-going partnerships with universities and local employers. Our STEM Academy is designed to engage students in meaningful learning that will put them on a path to success.
